Here is a quick list of things you need to know - stuff that's coming up:

1) SuperBowl Party @ Paul's - This Sunday - 4:30pm to 9:30pm - (more details below!)
2) LIFEGroups this Wednesday - we're talking about Wuvvvvvv!!! : ) Or for the fellas - dating.
3) Skate Party (that's right, Skate Party) - NEXT Sunday (2/8) - 6:00 to 8:00pm (details coming!)
4) Planet Wisdom - 2/20-21 - check out www.planetwisdom.com - only $75 - MUST PAY BY FEBRUARY 4TH!!
5) Ski Trip Spots - only a few left - get your friend to go and get $30 OFF for each one you sign up!!

A bunch of people who are probably a lot more interested in the new commercials than who actually wins the game!! And YOU should be there, too!

Special Habitat for Humanity NOISE Project

In January, February and March we will have an awesome opportunity to love on a near-by family who needs some help. A local family of a single mom and her two kids were selected by Habitat for Humanity to receive a new home!

One of the children, Ricky, is a sweet young boy who has been diagnosed with bone cancer. In this tough time for the family, we want to shine the light of the love of Jesus into their lives. Come with us as we help out Habitat for Humanity bring some joy into a difficult and trying situation.

If you helped out with our Adopt-a-Family LIFEGroup in December, this is the same family we bought clothes and presents for! How cool is it to keep loving on this family and to use our time and energy to make life better for them!?!

If you want to be a part of January's effort to serve and love this family, here's what you need to know:

When is it: Saturday, January 17th
What time: There are two shifts you can sign up for. The A.M. shift is from 8:00 to 12:00 and the P.M. shift is from 1:00 to 5:00. (both shifts can enjoy lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 if they want)
Where is it: We will meet out at the site of the new home - 1014 Ave G., Plano TX, 75074 - click here for a map. (directions from Hwy 75 at bottom of this post).
What to bring: You MUST dowload, fill out, and bring the Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Waiver (you can't work without it). Get that by clicking here! Wear layers of clothes (weather may change during shift) - AND make sure and have footwear suitable for working at a construction site.

Spots are limited - and so are certain job roles because of age - so Lisa will tell you what's available and how you can help serve and love on one of Woodcreek's neighborhood families!

"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'

Directions to the Site
The build address is 1014 Ave G., Plano TX, 75074

From 75 you should exit Plano Parkway. Please take the 75 access road (going North) to Ave 11 (this is the street just past Drive Time), go right on Ave 11, when you come to Ave G you turn right to get to the house; however, we need everyone to park in another location, so when you get to Ave G continue 1/2 block and cross the rail road tracks. There is a vacant parking lot there for you to park in.

New Calendar (updated!) and news about The Gathering

Hey guys,
