LIFEGroups and other announcements!

Here are some things to know about what's going on with senior high!







1) LIFEGroups tonight @ 7 in the auditorium. Bring your Bibles as we conclude our series on Developing Habits that Will Change Your Life.

2) PAINTBALL is on Sunday, November 9th - turn in your $45 and your release form by November 5th. Click HERE for the form. Cost includes lunch.

3) ROSS KING in concert next Wednesday, Nov. 5. Concert starts PROMPTLY at 8:00 - doors open at 7:15. Only $5. Best deal you will see in a long time! Bring a friend!!

4) Be sure and turn in your Powder '09 (ski trip) stuff to secure your spot. We are going to Crested Butte over Spring Break (March 17-21). To get a spot, turn in a $150 deposit and your release form. All the info and forms can be found be clicking here.

So much cool stuff going on - get pumped.

2 Things This Saturday

1st - We have the Kids' Karnival from 5:30 to 8:30. If you signed up for set-up be there from 3:30 to 5:30 (then we'll eat some pizza). If you signed up for the first shift it is from 5:15 to 7:00 and the second shift is from 7:00 to 8:45.







2nd - for those who want to come to the Brandon Heath, Derek Webb, IJM concert meet us at the Church at 6:00pm with $20. We will be leaving at 6:15 sharp - and so if you are not there on time you might be left behind!! Be there on time or call Mike - 469-939-8801. We'll be back around 9:30 or 10.

Tonight we're going to talk about having and being the right kind of friends. So bring your Bible and come on out to the Auditorium tonight at 7:00 and we'll wrap up around 8:30.

Powder '09

Just think about it:

It's Friday, March 13th, 2009 - about 2:30 in the afternoon.
You're at school.
The post-lunch nap feeling is settling in.
Your algebra II teacher is droning on and on about who knows what.
You sink in your chair lower and lower.
Depression begins to creep up.
How much longer can I go on?
When will I get a break???

Then you remember...
Back in October you signed up for Powder '09 trip with Woodcreek Senior High and you are just moments away from:
- Mountains - Adventure - Snow - Skiing - Boarding - So much fun - Friends - Memories - The Chateaux - Hanging - More mountains - Sweet rooms - Walking to the slopes - Hot Tub - Club - So much more and - The time of your life!! Now that is something that will get you through algebra!!

So, how do YOU get to go on POWDER '09

2 things to turn in to secure your spot:

1) Go to www.skidaddy.com/woodcreekchurch and print out/fill out the release form on there.
2) Bring that form and a non-refundable deposit of $150 up to the church (you can put it in the metal box outside of Creekside, or you can bring it to the office!)

That will get you a spot on the trip - but there will be more to do later.

Here are the details of the trip:
What it is: Powder '09 is our ski/snowboard trip
When it is: March 17th - 21st, 2009
Where is it: The beautiful Crested Butte, CO
How much is it: $665
What do we get: travel up and back, lodging at The Chateaux (less than 500 yards from the slopes), breakfasts and dinners, rentals, club at night, lift tickets, and the time of your life being challenged and having fun with your friends in the mountains.
How do I go: Spots ARE LIMITED - so be one of the first to turn in both the deposit money and the release form. Later you will go back to www.skidaddy.com/woodcreekchurch and register all you information and provide the rest of the payment by January 18th, 2009.
