A weekend of fun, praise, laughter, worship, hanging, and growing. Come with the Senior High as we head out to Irving Bible Church and experience what God has for us at Planet Wisom February 22-23, 2008!

So, you're asking yourself, "Self, what exactly is going on this weekend?"

Well, self, here's what you need to know...

When: Meet at the church Friday, February 22 at 5:30 (eat dinner before hand). Come back Saturday evening at about 7:00pm. (we will be staying overnight in a hotel - sweet!!)

Where: Planet Wisdom is at Irving Bible Church. It's a Bible Church, in Irving. And we are going to stay at the Days Inn out there.

How Much: A measly $70 gets you the sweet conference, breakfast-lunch-dinner on Saturday, an evening at the Days Inn, and an awesome time with other students and some leaders.

Who: Anyone that wants to have a good time, hear some great words, sing some great songs, grow in God, and grow with each other.

So sign up quickly by turning in you $70 to the Youth Office and get your spot on the list! See you there!

Club Tonight!!

Come join us in the Youth Room tonight at 7 for Club!

AND, since there is no school tomorrow, after club stick around for some hanging out - including 3 Hak Wak and Guitar Hero!

Freebirds Friday!

I mean, you've got to eat somewhere. Right?

Might as well join us as we get our grub on at Freebirds on Campbell.

Do one of two things:

1) Meet at the church at 12:00pm and get a ride.

or

2) Meet at the Freebirds at 12:15pm yourself.



Come hang out with us and celebrate one of the few postives to having finals after Christmas break - no school on Friday!


Who knows - there may even be a chance to come and play some certain game or something afterward up at the church...

Life Giver - The Cross of Christ

Join us again for Bible study tonight as we continue our Life Giver series by taking a look at the most famous symbol of the Christian faith - the cross.

70s Roller Disco this Sunday!

Hey you groovy cats - come getcho' groove on at our 70s Roller Disco at Thunderbird Roller Rink this Sunday from 5:30 - 7:30.

After the Cowboys rack up a 20 point lead by the 3rd quarter, come head out to the party of parties as we turn up the disco music, strap on the skates, and show our moves on the rink!!

It only costs $7 to come party and skate with us - so bring your cash and your 'hokey-pokey' prowess and join us this Sunday!

CARE 2008 - New Orleans

Don't forget - in order to be a part of this spring's CARE team you must do these things:

1) Either have been to the Parent Meeting back in October or have had your parents specifically spoken to Mike about the details of the trip

2) Picked up an application from Mike

3) Filled out the application by (new date) Friday, January 11th!

That's right - we've given you two extra days to pick up an application from Mike and turn it in!


Jon Lilley will be heading up this incredible experience to be a light and helping hand to the people of New Orleans who are in need. Come and love on people through service and grow as we bond together by lifting up those who need it. This is a chance not to spend your Spring Break, but to invest it!

We will go sometime during the week of March 15 to March 22.
